TOURNAMENT GENERAL DETAILS
Please read the following details regarding how the Ice Addiction tournament is operated. Visit each event page for specific details about that event as well.
The pre-event fee is $40 and can be paid online. Day of event, if tickets are still available, will be $50. You can pay both online and at the events by card. Cash is also accepted onsite day of the event.
Measure board (provided), fishing license, a camera phone to video and send in catch.
This is a digital event. For a fish to count, anglers must film a video of themselves measuring the fish, saying the code word (given to each anglers at the beginning of each event), state their name and the fish’s length, and show the release. The fish must be measured with the head touching the bump on the bump board and the tail pinched. Must be texted in. If a fish is in-between 1/4 inch marks round up to the next 1/4 inch.
Videos must be RECEIVED by the event ending time to qualify.
Anglers can fish from shore, kayaks, or a boat (as many anglers as you want, but all anglers must be registered in league)
Anglers who have already been fishing on the reservoir on the day of the event are subject to a MANDATORY boat check. This can be done on the water but is subject to availability of time by a Catch Rate Official.
All announcements in regards to cancellations or changes will be made on the Tightline Outdoors Facebook page.

No, the course is measured out (gridded) the night before the tournament. Holes are spaced 25ft apart and then drilled by our hole driller team the morning of the tournament. We understand this style of tournament is not for everyone, but we believe it not only helps prevent cheating, it also makes a fairly level playing field as well as helps keep everyone interactive and engaged.

NO. Each angler only gets ONE HOLE and ONE ROD at a time. You are welcome to bring as many rods/reels as you would like, but you are only allowed to fish one rod at a time.
