EVENT LOCATION, DATE & TIME
- Date & Time: January 25th, 2025 - 8:00 AM to Noon
- Location: Steinaker State Park - Marina/Main Boat Ramp
PARKING & MOTORIZED VEHICLES
- Parking: Available at the boat ramp parking lot and surrounding campgrounds.
- Lot Opening: The parking lot will open at 4:00 AM on the day of the event.
- Motorized Vehicles: Must remain on the outer edge of the course at all times.
PRE-FISHING
- Pre-Fishing End Time: All anglers must stop pre-fishing in the designated tournament course by 6:00 PM on January 24th.
- Restricted Area: Anglers may not fish on or within 200 yards of the course after 6:00 PM on January 24th.
- Gear Removal: All fishing gear must be removed from the course and within 200 yards of the course by 6:00 PM on January 24th.
- Penalty for Rule Violation: Anglers who violate this rule, as well as non-registered anglers assisting registered anglers, will result in the disqualification of the registered angler.
WEIGH-IN/LIMITS
- Weigh-In Location: The official weigh scale will be located on the ice at the Ford Tent.
- Weigh-In Rules:
- All fish must be weighed live and immediately after being caught.
- Each angler can weigh their legal limit of each species. All fish weighed must be legal catches and meet size requirements set by CPW.
- Species Limits:
- Trout: 4, in aggregate, no length requirement
- Bluegill: 50
- Bass: 6, no length requirement
- Non-Eligible Species:
- Shad and suckers are not eligible to be weighed.
- Enforcement:
- The Weigh Master's decisions are final. The Weigh Master is the final ruling authority on all tournament decisions.
- Poor sportsmanship, cheating, or any foul play will result in immediate disqualification.
- All coolers and gear are subject to search for illegal bait or fish
REGISTRATION
- Ticket Purchase:
- Tickets can be purchased online only; no walk-up tickets are available.

- Tickets are sold through Fishing Chaos; downloading the app is recommended for convenience.
- A live leaderboard will be available on the app during the tournament from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Ticket Price: $60 per person/event, non-refundable.
- License Requirement: All anglers must have a valid fishing license.
- Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 23rd at 8:00 PM.

CHECK-IN TIMES
- Line-Up Rules:
- Anglers may start lining up in their designated "letter line" no earlier than one hour before check-in time begins.
- No saving places in line the night before or earlier in the morning on the day of the event.
- All anglers must check-in prior to entering the course.
- Check-In Process:
- Check-in times are based on the group letter assigned when tickets were purchased.
- Anglers can check-in during their designated group time or later.
- Group Check-In Times:
- Group A: 6:15 AM
- Group B: 6:25 AM
- Group C: 6:35 AM
- Group D: 6:45 AM
- Group E: 6:55 AM
- Group F: 7:05 AM
- Group G: 7:15 AM
- Group H: 7:20 AM
TOURNAMENT INFO
- Course Setup:
- Each tournament requires "Hole Drillers" to help set up the course. Registered anglers who volunteer will be allowed to check-in with Group A.
- Anonymous Reporting:
- Use the anonymous text line (720.775.7770) to report any suspicious or foul play immediately.
- Alcohol & Drug Policy:
- Alcohol must comply with requirements set forth by CPW/State Parks and the tournament park location.
- Drug use is strictly prohibited.
- Search Policy:
- All anglers, coolers, and gear are subject to search for illegal bait.

TOURNAMENT RULES
- Course & Hole Selection:
- After check-in, anglers may go onto the course and select their pre-drilled hole.
- Each angler is allowed to use only one hole and one rod at a time, though they may bring as many rods/reels as they wish.
- Anglers are free to move around the course during the tournament.
- All holes are pre-drilled, with a minimum of 20% extra holes available.
- Holes are on a first-come, first-served basis; no reserving holes is allowed.
- Equipment & Setup:
- Anglers may use electronic depth finders or cameras before the tournament starts, but no lines or bait are allowed in the water until the 8:00 AM start buzzer.
- Catch & Weigh-In Rules:
- During the tournament, anglers must catch their fish and immediately bring it to the weigh scale.
- Anglers must hook their own fish and may not pass the rod to another angler. Assistance in landing fish is permitted if both parties agree.
- All rods must be attended at all times. Unattended rods will be reeled up, and the angler will be disqualified.
- All bait laws must comply with state regulations, including rules on live, dead, and artificial bait.
- Fish must be hooked and on the ice by the 12:00 PM buzzer to be eligible for weigh-in.
- Compliance & Conduct:
- All anglers must follow CPW laws; any violation will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Acts of foul play or intentional rule-breaking will result in immediate disqualification.
- Shelters/Coverings: Structures are not allowed on the tournament course unless they allow the angler to remain visible at all times.
- Event Changes & Refund Policy:
- The event may be rescheduled or canceled at any time.
- Tickets are non-refundable, except in the case of a complete event cancellation.
- If the event is rescheduled, all purchased tickets will be honored on the new date/location.
