May is the best Month of the year. Everything is open and all the fish are biting. Antero is now open and the fish are excited to be ice cap free. I was there today and I can vow that there was NOT any winter kill. Spinney is also open and the trout are going strong as I start Pike fishing this Friday. Stay tuned for pictures. 11 Mile opened today (May 5th) and the Pike will be biting there too. This is the time to spend as much time as possible on the water. It will pay off and you will be glad you did.
